Instructional Inspiration

Returning from Winter Break is never easy! However, just because the holidays are over doesn’t mean there isn't plenty to get excited about in January! MyVRSpot offers a fun New Year’s Resolutions MediaSpot project template that is perfect for students to reflect upon their past year and set goals for 2023. To help get those creative juices flowing, we also have instructional examples for both Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. day AND Chinese New Year! The years may change, but one thing is always constant: MyVRSpot is here to help.

Did You Know About Groups?

Did you know that MyVRSpot has a Groups feature? Groups are small learning communities within MyVRSpot. They are an excellent way to collaborate and share media. Lots of our users create grade- level team Groups to share materials with each other. You could also create a classroom Group for students, so they can easily access instructional content. Simply click Groups on your main menu and select Create Group to get started.

New Showcases update!

You may have noticed some changes to your Showcases lately. Our development team recently updated our Showcase tool to allow for List View as a viewing option. For larger Showcases, this view can help decrease page loading times. You can also set a maximum number of media items for your Showcase and specify, in pixels, how wide you want the Gallery box to be. Click Media Tools and then select Showcases. Click on the pencil icon to see the new settings options available to you today.
